Returns and Exchange Policy


The Pickleball Studio Offers Free Paddle Returns Australia-Wide

As part of our commitment in providing great service to our customers, the Pickleball Studio offers a 30-Day Paddle Return Guarantee with free return Australia-wide subject to the following conditions:

    • This offer is only applicable to pickleball paddles worth more than $120.
    • Customers have 30 days from the date of delivery (if purchased through our online store) or 30 days from date of purchase (for products purchased in-store) to return the paddles.
    • The product is in unused condition upon returning with the protective plastic intact. 
    • The original packaging, including the box (if applicable) is intact.
    • The paddle has no physical damages such as but not limited to chips, dents, bumper scratches or any form of physical deformation.
    • There must be no traces of physical modifications such as but not limited to marks from edge-guard tape, overgrips, lead tape, or any attached accessories
    • No visible play-wear or sign of misuse. Any indication of court use or impact marks will render the paddle ineligible for return.

 

If the paddle comes back in a condition that falls outside any of the terms of this policy, it won’t qualify for a refund and will be returned to you. We reserve the right to determine whether a returned paddle meets the conditions of this policy following inspection.

Important: We wish to clarify that our “Try Before You Buy” experience is exclusively available in-store and applies only during your visit on the same day. It is designed to help you choose the right paddle before purchase. Once a paddle has been purchased, it cannot be used for gameplay and later returned based on performance preference. How the 30-Day Paddle Return Guarantee Works

    • Buy any paddle worth more than $120 from our website or from any of our stores.
    • You have up to 30 days from the date of delivery of the paddle (if purchased through our online store) or 30 days from date of purchase (for paddles purchased in-store) to inspect and assess its grip, weight, and feel.
    • During this 30-day period, be sure to keep the complete packaging of the paddle and DO NOT remove the protective plastic. The condition of the paddle you wish to return must meet all the conditions stated in the previous section. Otherwise, the return will not be approved and the paddle will be returned to you.
    • If, within this period, you want to return the pickleball paddle, please contact us at +61 2 8002 8350 and we will email you a free return label.
    • Drop the return package, including its original packaging, at any Australia Post Location.
    • Choose a different paddle, request a store credit, or request a refund. (See our Refund Processing Policy for more information.)

 

Refund Processing Policy

Once your return package arrives, we will thoroughly inspect its condition, and when it is approved for refund, we will initiate the process. Take note of our timeline:

    • Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days
    • You’ll be notified by email when your refund is complete
    • Refunds go back to the original payment method

 

Change-of-Mind Returns (Non-Paddle Products)

If you change your mind on accessories, apparel or equipment, you can return them within 30 days of purchase subject to the following conditions:

    • All items you wish to return must be in unused condition and in original packaging. The seals or tapes must be untampered, and the packaging must be fully intact.
    • The return shipping will be shouldered by the customer.
    • If, upon receiving the return package, the products have visible signs of usage, are tampered with, are damaged, or the original packaging is damaged, the return will be rejected and the products will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.
    • The refunds are issued within 5 to 10 business days to your original payment method.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged from transit, we’ll look after you.

Please email us at hello@pickleballstudio.com.au with the following attachments:

    • Your order number
    • A description of the issue
    • Photos and videos of the damages in the product

 

We will assess your claim and advise whether a replacement or refund will be issued. If the item is confirmed faulty, we will cover the return shipping in full.

FAQs

Yes, we encourage you to store safely and keep the original packaging intact during the 30-day paddle return guarantee period so you can return the paddle that you purchased if you wish to do so.

Take note that approval of the paddle return is subject to the conditions stated in the Returns & Exchange Policy.

Any use of the paddle in real court gameplay will make it ineligible for return under this policy, as gameplay use results in visible wear and removal of the protective plastic.

Instead, we recommend dry swinging or shadow swinging to feel the paddle. You can also lightly test it against a hitting wall.

If you want to be 100% sure about the fit of the paddle before purchasing, we encourage you to visit any of our stores in Lansvale or Waterloo. 

We have a dedicated hitting wall in our Lansvale store and you can test multiple paddles in our store to find the right one for you. On the other hand, in our in-court store at Pro Pickle, Waterloo, we allow supervised on-court gameplay using our demo paddles. That way, you can experience the paddles in a real game.

Yes, upon approval of your return, you can choose between store credit, refund, or product exchange. Many players use the free return to upgrade or switch to a better-suited paddle.

Most returns arrive within 5–7 days via Australia Post. The duration of the shipping depends on several factors such as the drop-off point, and other variables that may be out of our control such as delays in transit.
